A Gujarat Police constable is being hailed on social media for her timely intervention and promptness in helping a woman who was appearing for an examination. The woman had come for the Gujarat High Court’s peon recruitment exam at Odhav in Ahmedabad Sunday with her six-month-old son.The exam was about to start but the child was crying continuously. Seeing the situation, Constable Daya Ben stepped in and took the child in her arms. She looked after the baby so that his mother could appear for the exam. Photos of the constable playing with the baby have been going viral after they were shared on Twitter by Ahmedabad police. “Daya, a woman police constable, came to the aid of a mother who was taking her exams in Odhav, Ahmedabad. The constable stepped in when the infant started crying, allowing the mother to continue her exams without worrying about the child,” says the caption of the video when loosely translated from Gujarati.
