Former cricketer Praveen Kumar became a victim of a road accident in Meerut on Tuesday night, in which he narrowly survived. Praveen lives in Multan Nagar on Baghpat Road and he was going towards Pandav Nagar at around 10 pm when a canter hit his car near the Commissioner’s residence. Former cricketer Praveen’s car was badly damaged in this accident.According to media reports, the cricketer’s son was also present in the car with him when the car accident happened. After the accident, a huge crowd gathered at the spot. People caught the canter driver and then handed him over to the police. The police took the canter driver into custody.After the accident, the crowd gathered rapidly and they only caught the accused driver. On getting the information, the Civil Line Police Station reached the spot. SP City Piyush Kumar told that the canter driver has been taken into custody and sent to the police station. The CO told that Praveen and his son are safe in the accident.
