In contrast, MPs of the India Alliance were heard speaking “India-India”.The Lok Sabha was adjourned till 2 pm on Thursday as opposition parties continued to protest over the Manipur issue. As soon as the House met, members of various opposition parties wanted to raise the issue. Some members raised slogans and displayed posters in the well of the House.Speaker Om Birla reminded him that it was not appropriate to do so and said it was against the decorum of the House. “We have been elected and sent here by the people to discuss their issues. He urged the Members to have a good discussion.”You are being watched by the entire country and there should be a good tradition in the House. The Speaker further said that he will give time to discuss the issues. However, opposition members continued their protest. Amid the ruckus, the Speaker adjourned the proceedings till 2 pm in less than seven minutes even as a question was taken up during the Question Hour.
